Details: Click the following [link] One of the last drawings I've done before the convention time. I'm not that happy with this piece to tell you the truth because I had a lot of trouble figuring out what to do about colouring. I just ended up doing the same thing I did with my China Doll and Under the Rising Sun piece which I don't mind, but I thought i could try something different with this one. Oh well I guess I'll have to test a different colouring style on my next piece. Don't mind the character on her arm (from what I remember last it was the character for water although it's been a while since I wrote any Chinese characters X_X; ) My brother actually liked the line art because of the detail in it and I agree that colouring can sometimes take away from the line art. That's why I actually colour in this style for some of my pieces because I love the line art so much that I think it needs greater emphasis than the colouring. Anyways that's all for now folks. I wanted to post something a little more dynamic but this will have to do for now until the convention thing is done XP |
