Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

As I finish preparing everything for Anime North I come to the realization that I always do this... leave everything to the last 2 weeks of a convention XD; I'm bad I know I know lol Just call me the queen of procrasination~ Not proud of that mind you >.>;

I've noticed another thing that I find interesting about the deviant art featured on the main page. Not the DD but everything else. It really is more like a popularity contest in my eyes. Don't get me wrong a lot of the ones featured are great pieces of work and admire the artist for their skills, and then there are those other pieces that seem like other pieces that I've seem by other artists. Nothing really special except for the fact that the artist likes to socialize and produce more favorites.
And then there are artists out there that have hidden talent who i think deserve to be in that space but hardly get any favorites on their work. Thank Devi or DD which goes around and find these hidden gems because without them these hidden gems would just stay hidden. Why are they like this? Because of the fact that they don't socialize, don't advertise themselves, and don't care. Frankly I'm the same way haha I don't care for those things nore do I have the time to care about that. Not saying making friends is a bad thing, but I'm not as free to be doing that for every single person who comments on my piece nore do I have time for it because of my schedule. I might do it ever so often if I'm bored but devi ain't life

Ok that's my rant for today. Just thought I'd share that cause it's really important for you to check out the people who aren't always in the spotlight because they can truely have talent.

lol no matter how much they say it they can't stop people from faving completely but it's very kind of those artists to think that way. I'd rather have people appreciate my art and go off inspired than have them just fav it for the sake of the fact they added me to their friends list.
