:nieman: It's not getting warmer in my house which is bad news for my printer! No warmth = no air moisture = ink cracking on photopaper! There always has to be something that happens before a convention >.>; Plus I don't have motivation to finish 2 other pieces so this will be interesting to see how quickly I can do them.

I'm in one of these states where I gotta wonder why the heck I'm not looking for a part time job =p hmmm...cause I'm a lazy bumb who is sitting around waiting for graphic work to show up? X_X My clients seem to like to make me wait when it comes to replying to concepts. The whole reality is that I'm not making enough to earn a living when they do that... baka baka baka baka! grrr... *goes to a corner and watches anime all day*

That's actually what I've been doing lately and I feel so bloody useless doing it. RAWR I want to advertise my online shops as much as possible so maybe I can at least make something out of them lol If they were cheaper to produce I would sell them in conventions but since they are print on demand, can't really do that ><; Oh well... let's see how the holidays go since it's time for present hunting. I'm flat broke so I'll probably have to do some homemade gifts like last year ^^; Hehehe this will be interesting. Last year I was able to do chritmas gifts for all my friends and my family with $50-$60 WAHAHA just gotta know where to shop and how to present it ;3 They were like gift baskets with those stylish large coffee cups/wine glasses as the base, a stuffed animal holding the base, lots of christmas wrapped chocolates, and coloured basket wrapping~

lol ok anyways that all from me, you're all probably bored of my rambling XD

Don't know what to tell ya 'bout the printer... Murphy's law, I guess.

It really bites when business is slow; hopefully things'll pick up soon. :)

yeah I'm basically in a bind for it. I tried the blanket and the heater, which did minimize cracking but there is still a little bit of it. It's cause the room itself should be warm cause the cold and warm air kinda clash once the piece is printed out =p

And thanks i hope it picks up soon ;3

Hmm... I don't know what to do about that... I used to have a cold room all winter long back in AK. But I didn't have the cracking problem, 'cause I didn't use the glossy paper (just printing crap out for fun, not cash). Is your printer near a window? If so, perhaps it would help to place it elsewhere... I dunno.

hehe it's near my computer which is not near the window. It's just the room is really cold period. The doorway leads to the kitchen but there is no actual door to close the room so it doesn't heat up easily. Sad part is that I can't move the computer since it's the main computer and my older brother told me not to even think of moving it XP
It's ok the con is over now anyways so I won't have to worry until May comes around. By then the printing should be fine ^_^

Ick. I guess that's all you can do. So, did you get any of the prints to look good enough for the convention?
