:nieman: My "already not checked often and filling up" inbox got spammed like no tomorrow! >_>; I'm going to cry ;_;...At one instance I'm honored I got chosen for a DD...but in another sense I don't 100% agree that the Garden of Dreams piece deserves a DD since that year old piece wasn't in my favor =p The horrors of past work comes haunting me X_X But I appreciate both ~sashi-sushi for nominating me and `Marker-Guru for giving me the DD. Now I gotta take the time to actually clear out my inbox properly...

In other news it is official. I will not be attending AN this year. And I was looking forward to seeing a lot of people there and selling some new cute buttons and mousepads. We'll see how well things go for the CNAnime con in August.

Work has kept me busy but my freelancing is slowing down a little (I don't mind since my carpel was being strained because of it). My mother bought me a brace for my wrist in order for me not to strain it but it's hard for me to use the mouse when I wear it @_@ Ahhh...well other than that I'm fine and dandy. Will get to everyone who's watched/faved me ASAP O_O

ugh, i have carpel tunnel as well, also brought on by too much mouse work. but the pain is almost all gone - since i started using my wacom for all my art, and desktop navigation.

it takes a while to get used to, but my hands dont hurts so much and thats the most important thing.

i also have a vertical mouse which i use when needed :) [link]

I use my left hand to draw and my right to use the mouse so I've been trying to use my tablet at home to do the same thing whenever I can, however it seems I'm straining both after a certain point which makes it worse especially if it starts on my drawing hand.

Does the vertical mouse help you?

the V-mouse did help to ease the straining in my wrist. if you need to use a mouse i would suggest the V-mouse. its not perfect (the wheel is abit sloppy) but its better than using a tracking ball mouse, or any other type iv tried.
the V-mouse also has a few extra buttons that can be used for short cuts ( like 'back' in internet ex etc )
for me, the worst pain would come after doing a lot of clicking with a (any) mouse... it would go from the finger to the back of my wrist. and it drove me nuts! using a wacom has stoped that... i havent used a mouse in months.
i hope you can find something that helps :)

Hmm...I have an optical mouse with a scroller and it does have a back and forward button on the sides. However since the shape is like a regular mouse it doesn't do well for my hand. I don't have the luxury of my tablet at work so that is a problem as well.

But thanks I hope so to.

congrats on the DD
don't know if you have one but a tablet can help reduce the pain in your hands

I do but I don't use it for everyday surfing and clicking only for drawing. And I don't have a tablet at work which requires me to click constantly.

hmmm... maybe an ergonomic mouse would help, [link]
I've been getting pains in my wrist and forearm lately too, I want to get a mouse like that or maybe a wrist band - but my hands are tiny - gotta find the right one.. hope it gets better soon
